Helicopter Private Pilot Licence
Age – 17 years old
Requirements – Able to read, write, speak and understand English
Medical Required – class 2
Flight Requirements – 45 hours minimum helicopter flight time (including 25 hours flight training and 10 hours solo)
Ground School – 20 hours ground school needed
Written Exam – Multiple-choice exams(7), with the entire subjects already covered in your ground school plus a practical Radio test
Oral Exam and Flight Test – An oral exam with an CAA Examiner, again with all subjects covered in your ground school and then a flight test with the same examiner.
